Darkmoon Fair Litter

So the Darkmoon Fair is gone again, traveling to Mulgore. When i passed by the fairground, i was stunned. They didn't even had the decency to take away the litter or burn the corpses still laying around. I darn hope the King of Stormwind included a contractual penalty clause in their arrangement. What if the litter and the corpses will spread a plague in Elwynn Forest?!?

While Blizzard updated the Argent Dawn rewards on their website for patch 1.11 already, players are complaining why everything faction/reputation related has to be such an endless grind. Eno said that they want to overhaul the way faction works in the expansion, as they never polished the system since beta. About time i would say!

Do you remember the adventures of Neriad becoming an Admiral of the Bloodsail fleet? Well, he is back and checked out the new Bloodsailor content: YARRR, Part II

Winter is coming

Despite the up and down for the PTR servers, some guilds advance deeper into new content. Sometimes with exploits that are fixed quickly after, but the result is more tidbits of informations showing up. As it looks now, you'll be able to gather the new scourge shoulder enchants from the dragon (Frost Wyrm) Sapphiron (maybe also from Kel'Thuzad?) as epic drops. If you want to see a short video featuring Kel'Thuzad and Sapphiron click on the picture.

Another interesting story - although i start to believe it when i see more proof - is a korean player who entered the Scarlet Monestary with the Corrupted Ashbringer equipped and triggered a new event, which points towards the Outlands and a lost son from Morgrain.

Reading through the patch notes for the 1.11 patch again, leaves some interesting infos often overlooked:
The Repair all button on NPC's that repair will now repair all of the items that you are carrying whether you have them equipped or not.
The Group Loot/Need before Greed dialogue will now show a golden dragon border around Bind on Pickup items.
The interface event processing has been optimized while zoning.

New flight points can be found at Ratchet and Marshall's Refuge, Un'Goro Crater.
Other players will properly see the changes when you toggle the Show Helm or Show Cloak option.
Dire Maul Librams may now drop in any wing.

Blood of General Drakkisath is now a multi-drop quest item. Everyone on the quest will be able to loot the blood.
General Rajaxx encounter will be changed again: hitpoints of every creature in the encounter has been lowered, Damage of General Rajaxx has been lowered, The wait time between waves in this encounter has been shortened.

Talking about librams, you can exchange any of the three arcanums (previously used for the ZG enchants) for a nature resist enchant, which recently has been lowered down to +10 nature resist.

So while the undead winter is around the corner, we should go out and enjoy the nice weather some more. Already attendance for raids and such slows down... if people enjoy summer, it's maybe not that much a bad thing. ;)

I was pure once

One of the new items in 1.11 creating the highest interest is still the Corrupted Ashbringer. Apparently the "will of the Ashbringer" has different effects, one is that the sword whispers to you while you wear it. If you follow the above link, you can listen to those sound clips. The other effects are mere speculation at this point, but talk is about some periodical damage to you (and maybe your party). Despite the fact that the playerbase is speculating the patch will come soon, there are tons of bugs still on the PTRs. Ranging from getting a fatigue bar and dying on a gryphon (when DCed during the flight over deep water) up to a bug that lets you damage & repair your gear over and over again while duping your stats in the process. Some players abused this exessively on the PTRs soloing even tough bosses.

One thing that caused a large discussion is the nerf for the Spirit of Zanza potion (available at revered with the Zandalar tribe). It was mislabeled in the PTR patch notes and not many realized it. On the test realms, this potion will not persist through death anymore. While the cost were reduced to one token, it's still unique. Let's hope Blizzard will fix this one. Quite much hassle for the potion else.

On a personal note, Thulf now got Manual of Battle Shout VII and Manual of Revenge VI as well. Therefore i know all my warrior class books from AQ20. Yay! With the nice weather and a lot of work, not much else interesting happened and as you might have realized, updates in my blog are irregular.
